Lewis Hamilton‘s Ferrari move is set to be one of the biggest switch in teams for a driver in Formula 1. Ferrari’s massive drought in championship victory might finally end under the seven-time world champion’s expertise. However, ahead of Hamilton’s entry, Ex-F1 champion Damon Hill commented on how the situation would be if Maranello’s chassis performed poorly.

Ferrari scored an interesting turnaround in performance in the 2024 season after contending for the championship against McLaren until the very last race. However, the Italian constructor is notoriously known for botched pitstops and strategies. As a result, Damon Hill predicted how Lewis Hamilton would react if the newly designed SF-25 chassis is not up to the mark.

Hill took a dig at Hamilton’s future with Ferrari if the car was ‘uncompetitive’. The Briton reckoned that the 40-year-old would exit the team faster than a ‘scalded cat’ if the chassis didn’t perform well. As a result, the SF-25 must put forth some notable pace improvement for the seven-time champion’s continuation with the team.
