Daniel Ricciardo, the eight-time Grand Prix winner, has not had the best of times in RB’s 2024 challenger and because of this, is under immense pressure. With a looming Liam Lawson threat hanging over his head around the 2025 seat, Ricciardo has claimed that he has not been given any warning by Red Bull.
The Milton-Keynes-based team and RB reserve driver, Liam Lawson is one of the young talents knocking extremely hard on the F1 door. The 22-year-old had an impressive five-race stint last year when Daniel Ricciardo was injured but despite this, he was not offered a seat for the ongoing campaign.

However, things seem to have finally tilted in Lawson’s favor, especially since Marko’s ‘soon’ remark around the New Zealander. He is being seen as the top candidate for 2025 but Ricciardo has indicated that he is also still in with a shot for next year.
I still know that the most important thing in this sport is performance . That's what will give me the best chance of staying here. I know that. There's been no pressure, no ultimatums... Nothing like that. But I've also been in the sport for a long time. I know that if I get my ass kicked every weekend, at some point someone will say: 'Hey, mate, step up, otherwise!Daniel Ricciardo said in an interview with Soymotor

The 2024 F1 season is 10 rounds and down and there are still 14 events remaining on the calendar. Next up on the schedule is this week’s Ausrian GP and it is just about the perfect opportunity for Ricciardo to kick his season into sixth gear.
The Austrian event in Speilberg is Red Bull’s home race and if he performs well, it will put him in a good stead going forward. The next 14 races are pretty much make-or-break events as far as Ricciardo’s F1 career is concerned.
