However, he remained open to the possibility that things could change in the upcoming races.

Daniel Ricciardo opens up on being under pressure throughout 2024
Daniel Ricciardo explained that he faced many challenges and pressure during the Canadian GP and still had a good weekend. He mentioned that people would say that he was back. However, he pointed out that if he fails to perform well in the next race, he would be right back at the start, needing to prove himself again. Ricciardo acknowledged a single good performance wouldn’t ensure lasting recognition. To secure his future and reduce the criticism he needs to perform consistently well.
Even after Canada, and there were some things going on that weekend, and I was under some pressure, I had a good weekend. All of a sudden, 'Oh yeah, he's back'. But then if you don't perform the next weekend, it's back to square one.Daniel Ricciardo stated.
Hence, The pressure in Canada didn’t seem to affect the Australian much, but he worried that people would think he was back. If he failed to perform in another race, his progress would drop back to zero. Fans hope Ricciardo performs well in the upcoming races to help him secure his seat for the 2025 season.
