Daniel Ricciardo faced massive uncertainty in his career in Formula 1 ahead of the 2023 season. However, the Australian was handed a seat at RB as the last straw for his career. Ricciardo has put forth unstable results over the past season. As a result, the 35-year-old believes that his seat in the Red Bull family is his last chance to shine in the pinnacle of motorsport.

Daniel Ricciardo has been unable to perform well against Yuki Tsunoda at RB. However, the 35-year-old was reportedly considered for Red Bull if Sergio Perez were to be ousted. Regardless, the Australian’s contract with Faenza will end towards the end of this season. Hence, Ricciardo noted that he was fully motivated and focused and put forth his thoughts on the uncertainty over his future in the sport.

In addition to this, Daniel Ricciardo didn’t want to have any regrets over his career in Formula 1. This was the reason that Ricciardo spoke up regarding his future at the pinnacle of motorsport. Subsequently, the 35-year-old claimed that he was comfortable and found himself in a good place. Finally, the Honey Badger pointed out that he was going ‘all in’ with the remainder of his career.

I don't want to hang the helmet up and be like, damn, I should have spoken up when I should have, I should have done that differently. So I'm in a good place because I'm comfortable within myself and I'm comfortable with the approach I'm taking and going all in.

Additionally, the Honey Badger claimed that Formula 1 was his priority as he was much more aware of everything else going on.

I feel excited. I feel motivated. I truly have cut a lot of things out as well to make sure that this is my priority. Now I'm much more aware of everything else going on and if something's too much, I'm saying it's too much or I'm not doing it.

RB has continued to provide the two drivers with the best possible opportunity available. Ricciardo will have to work hard for his goal and attempt to overcome his Japanese counterpart. The summer break would be a nice time off for the Aussie as he would want to return back to the cockpit and start performing well.
