Daniel Ricciardo was one of the most loved drivers on the Formula 1 grid despite failing performances. Regardless, he faced one of the most disappointing ends to his stint in the sport. Multiple individuals berated RB after axing the Aussie mid-season without any official confirmation. However, amidst this, the 35-year-old was spotted donning a cap about his retirement.
Following Daniel Ricciardo‘s departure, he is yet to unveil his plans. The Aussie met up with some of his friends over the three-week break in the 2024 calendar ahead of the US GP, where he is rumored to receive an ambassadorial role. The Honey Badger was spotted wearing a cap talking about his retirement and how having a good time was his only job.

Ricciardo was already rumored to be axed at the Singapore GP and being replaced by Liam Lawson. According to reports, Ricciardo had the option to unveil the news of his exit over the weekend but decided not to. The 35-year-old received immense applause and love at the end of the weekend as everyone knew the situation.

Jenson Button guessed Daniel Ricciardo’s future plans after leaving F1
Multiple individuals believed that Daniel Ricciardo would lurk in the shadows of Formula 1 despite being ousted. However, the Ex-Formula 1 driver Jenson Button thinks the Aussie might try his hands at something else in his life. Button highlighted that Ricciardo had a great career in front of him in racing, TV, and even stand-up comedy. The Briton believed that the 35-year-old would find a route for himself in his life after the pinnacle of motorsport.
