Following Daniel Ricciardo’s F1 exit due to poor performances in the 2024 season, Lawson is set to replace him at VCARB for the remaining races this season. Daniel helped me last year, and this year we have always had good contact with each other. He has always been helpful to me. But it’s not just me and him competing for a seat. You fight with everyone in Formula 1 to get or keep a seat.
