Ex-F1 driver claims ‘best drivers’ end up in the ‘fastest cars’ amidst Max Verstappen’ dominance

Former British racer David Coulthard, has praised Red Bull’s Max Verstappen for his consistent performances on the grid. Coulthard has since hailed Verstappen as one of the very best in the history of the Milton-Keynes outfit.
Max Verstappen leads the championship this season and he is hopeful of securing a fourth title at the end of the campaign. The 26-year-old has been challenged by the likes of McLaren and Ferrari but despite this, has won seven races.
David Coulthard has rubbished notions of Verstappen’s success being down to having a fast car and has credited him for his relentless skill on the track. The Brit has also spoken of the baseless hatred towards the 26-year-old’s achievements while stating clear examples in support of his word.
There are people who really have an underlying hatred for him and his achievements. They just try to find excuses by saying things like, 'Well, he's always been in the best car. All Formula 1 drivers are good. All footballers are good, and all tennis players are good. But we want to see exceptional. The Dutchman has not won in the past two races and has fallen short of the brilliance of Mercedes. He will now try to make up for his lost chances in Budapest and Spa in hopes of increasing his lead at the top of the championship.
Daniel Ricciardo claims inconsistency is his biggest frustration in F1
Visa Cash App RB driver Daniel Ricciardo, has opened up on his struggles since joining the team midway through last season. Ricciardo has amassed only 11 points for the Red Bull sister team and has been criticized by many for his inconsistency this campaign.

The 35-year-old driver finished P9 at Spielberg, where he scored points for the second time this season. He has thereafter elaborated on his need to find consistent form, which will in turn help him with his mental well-being.
Daniel Ricciardo is yet to secure a contract for 2025, which will require him to prove his worth to the grid. The remaining races of the campaign will be a stern test for him as he will give his all to scoring points for RB.
