Lewis Hamilton joins Scuderia Ferrari with high expectations. The seven-time world champion wants to get back his form after a string of disappointing seasons at Mercedes. Now, former F1 driver David Coulthard has hinted how the 40-year-old can win the title with the Scuderia.
Hamilton has asserted that he wants to bring glory back to Maranello. Moreover, the British driver has emphasized that he has a drive for success with the Italian team. Though, he has keenly watched the testing runs of his rivals, particularly Max Verstappen.
Coulthard highlighted that the scenario for Lewis Hamilton will become quite simply if Ferrari provides him a competitive car. DC reckoned that if the Scuderia builds a race-winning car, Hamilton will only need to defeat Charles Leclerc to be crowned the world champion in 2025.
We’ll find out in time whether Ferrari have a competitive car or not — and, if they do, all he has to do is beat Charles and he can be champion again.

Lewis Hamilton can ‘absolutely’ win eighth F1 title
Despite Hamilton’s age, David Coulthard still has full faith in the F1 star. The former Red Bull driver reckoned that Lewis Hamilton can absolutely battle it out at the front of the grid. DC insisted that the Briton can once again perform at his peak. The 40-year-old recently dismissed all claims of retirement, hinting at he plans to race for another decade.

He can absolutely do it again. He’s a seven-time champion. He can be more than that.
David Coulthard added
Certainly, Lewis Hamilton is determined to make a mark with Ferrari during his first season at Maranello. The 40-year-old will not be content by grabbing an odd race win here and there. Rather, the Briton wants to be in the contest for the title. However, it remains to be seen if Hamilton’s ambitions are fulfilled in the coming season.
