F1 commentator, David Croft has made an assumption about Ferrari driver, Carlos Sainz moving to Williams Racing in 2025. Sainz is set to be replaced by Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari for next season.

Carlos Sainz has been a phenomenal driver for the Maranello-based and has thus invited interest from all across the grid. The 29-year-old is rumored to have the option to join Williams Racing in 2025, along with Audi-owned Sauber, which will completely transition into Audi in 2026.

David Croft has spoken on the capability of James Vowles, team principal of Williams, to lure in talented drivers such as Sainz in light of the new power unit deal of Williams with Mercedes from 2026. Croft says that the Spaniard will prefer the British marque over Audi due to his faith in James Vowles.

Hand on heart, I think he'll go to Williams. I think that is where Carlos Sainz is heading. He can see what's in front of him with Williams. He probably can't see the Audi vision at the moment because there's not much to tell, they haven't taken over at Sauber but they are building power units and that's it. If James
Vowles gets it then fair play to him.
David Croft said via Sky F1 podcast.

The three-time race winner now has a decision to make that will greatly influence his career for a few years to come. But until then, Sainz will look to focus on racing for the Ferrari wholeheartedly as F1 heads into the Canadian GP race weekend.

If you start to tell yourself what you have done is good, it is the beginning of the end. If you are satisfied you are dead. There is always room for improvement.
Fred Vasseur said in an interview

Ferrari has been on a flyer this season after enduring a rough couple of seasons where they struggled to find form and pace. But the arrival of Fred Vasseur has caused a radical turnaround within the team as they look better and rejuvenated.

The Maranell-based team is currently the second fastest team on the grid and faces tough competition from the likes of Red Bull and McLaren in the constructors championship. The upcoming weekend in Montreal will test the perseverance of the team around the high-speed circuit as they look to continue their fine form in an attempt to score podiums and points.
