The US GP qualifying was a disappointing surprise for Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes, as they performed well below expectations. The Briton, who has consistently excelled at COTA, struggled in Q1 and felt completely out of sorts.

Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton faced ongoing balance issues with his upgraded W15, which he had identified the day before. This led to a shocking knockout in Q1, leaving him in P19, out-qualified by his former teammate Valtteri Bottas.
The US GP marked one of the worst qualifying sessions for seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton in many years. Despite having won six times at COTA, he failed to secure the top spot to start the race. After qualifying, Hamilton took to his Instagram Story to connect with his fans.
The 39-year-old expressed his hope to bounce back from the struggles they faced and shared his gratitude for the engineers tirelessly working at the factory. He ended his message on a positive note, stating that he was looking forward to a better day ahead.
