Lewis Hamilton with his niece & nephew
Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time world champion, joint all-time top alongside Michael Schumacher, has an impeccable record in his Formula 1 career. He has 103 wins and 191 podiums. The Mercedes AMG driver holds the record for most race wins in Formula 1 history. He has a total number of 103 pole positions. These are just a few of his accomplishments. Hamilton is arguably the most successful F1 driver in history. The Briton has a life outside the sport, making him a role model for many within and outside motorsport.
Lewis Hamilton is a big personality outside of Formula 1 as well. He gets invited to various events worldwide and meets plenty of people. The Briton, just like the others, has a rich dating history. He dated several women throughout his life but is currently single. However, Hamilton has often expressed his love for children.
As a Formula 1 driver, Hamilton’s life is hectic. The drivers travel throughout the year; balancing personal and professional life can be challenging. Nevertheless, the Mercedes AMG legend has a soft corner for children and hopes to have kids someday. But right now, he is focused on his work. Hamilton stated, “I’m a workaholic. I don’t have time for it. When you travel as much as I do, it’s hard to keep up a relationship, so I’m of the mindset that I’m not going to do that until I’ve stopped and no longer have to be so single-minded.”

Lewis Hamilton’s love for kids can be seen in his relationship with his niece & nephew
Though the British driver is currently focused on racing, he hopes to start a family someday. The Briton wants to be present in his children’s life. His work is hectic, and he does not have the time now. He told The Independent last season, “I am not in a relationship, I don’t have kids, my car is my baby.” Hamilton’s focus is to get back to winning. Mercedes is going through a rough patch, and the Briton wants to stay focused.
The former McLaren driver has one of the busiest schedules to follow in the Motorsport world. His endorsers include multiple fashion and business ventures. He also runs projects like Mission 44. While Hamilton is busy with the races, he also makes time for his niece and nephew. He adores them.
The Briton often shares images with his niece and nephew on social media. His eyes light up when he speaks about them. Hamilton takes his role as an uncle seriously; he watches movies, picks the kids up from school when he has the time, and plays with them. He also posted a sweet video making pancakes with the kids on pancake day.
Lewis Hamilton does not want his kids to get into F1
Last season Hamilton gave an interview ahead of the British Grand Prix; the world champion stated he did not want his kids to get into racing because it would be difficult for them to follow in his footsteps. He does not want them to face the pressure that comes along with the Hamilton name. The Briton joked he would love for them to become tennis players and take lessons from Serena Williams, his good friend.
Hamilton has an astonishing record in Formula 1. But the driver is not finished yet. His goal remains the same, to win races and championships. The Mercedes driver does not want to start a family at the moment. At least, not until he hangs up his helmet. Lewis Hamilton is working on a masterpiece but is not entirely done with it yet.
