The seven-time F1 champion of the world Lewis Hamilton will rep the Red of Ferrari in 2025. Since the end of 2021, things have not really been in Hamilton’s favor as he has often struggled behind the wheel of the Mercedes cars.
The 2024 F1 season has also panned out around the same lines as well but despite all this, the Ex-F1 driver Jhonny Herbert has backed Lewis Hamilton to put out his absolute A-game wearing the iconic gear of Ferrari next year.

Hamilton is all-set to leave Mercedes after spending over a decade with the team.
Lewis will be looking to fly out of the blocks as quickly and as positively as he can. Has he still got what it takes? I think he has.

The 39-year-old is moving to Ferrari in his pursuit of a record-breaking eighth world championship. Hamilton has shown glimpses of his past self this year by amassing two victories in an inconsistent car. Ferrari is a team on the rise and the Brit’s move has come at just about the right time.
Lewis Hamilton will be ‘motivated’ competing against Charles Leclerc
While Herbert has backed Hamilton to hit the ground running straightaway next year, he has also dwelled on the tricky predicament of Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque has been driving for Ferrari since the 2019 season of F1.

Moreover, he has always been an extremely strong driver and is seen by many as one of the most exceptional talents on the modern grid.
Then there is Charles to deal with at the same time which will really motivate him. It is all about motivation for the driver. It should be a really good start for Ferrari because of the position they are in at the moment.

Leclerc and Hamilton could prove to be one of the strongest driver pairings in the 2025 F1 season. However, for this to happen, they will be required to put first the team’s objectives rather than their own in the driver’s tussle.
Keeping all this in view, the Ferrari team boss Fred Vasseur will have a tough task in front of him next year. Expectations will be high in both championships and Vasseur will have to find a way to keep his competitive drivers on the same page.
