Ex-F1 team boss predicts Lewis Hamilton will ‘fight’ for the world title with Ferrari in 2025

The 2025 season will be a new journey for the Formula 1’s most successful driver, Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton is set to leave the team which provided him with six world titles and join Ferrari. But the last 3 seasons were a major performance slump for both Hamilton and Mercedes. Now, as he moves to Maranello, his main mission will be to lead Ferrari back to the top. Former F1 team boss and owner, Eddie Jordan also believes that the Briton will push hard to achieve his goal.
Eddie Jordan expressed confidently that Lewis Hamilton will regain his top form and be ready to compete for the world championship in 2025. He believed strongly that anyone who doubts Hamilton’s ability to come back and win is mistaken. Therefore, Jordan has strong hopes that the Briton will shine at the prancing horse and clinch his dream by securing the eight world title.

Further, Jordan mentioned, at the beginning of the season Lewis Hamilton was concentrating on his future with ferrari. He was focused on setting up his new team by bringing in the right people to work with him. Such as the aero-genius Adrian Newey who also announced his departure from Red Bull. His key part of the plan was ensuring that team principal Fred Vasseur would be there to support him. However, Newey had different plans and accepted a much bigger offer.
At the start of the season Lewis was focused on his future at Ferrari, getting the right people and making sure he had Vasseur alongside him.Eddie Jordan added.
Eddie Jordan asserts Mercedes will be strong in 2025, but Ferrari will be ‘incredibly strong’
Eddie Jordan believes that Ferrari will be a very strong team next year, especially with Lewis Hamilton joining them. He reckoned that the Briton will boost the team’s confidence and show them how to compete effectively. Hamilton will encourage them to pay attention to what Mercedes is doing but not to be worried. Because he believed they could beat not only George Russell but his teammate as well. The 76-year-old acknowledged Mercedes’ strength but believes Ferrari will surpass them in pace and competitiveness next season.
Ferrari will be a great team next year and they will enjoy Lewis' presence. He will tell them to look at what Mercedes is doing, not to worry, that they can beat Russell and everyone else, and they will. Mercedes will be strong too, but Ferrari will be incredibly strong .Eddie Jordan stated.
Therefore, Jordan believed Mercedes would struggle to fight Hamilton and Ferrari in 2025 as they would be very competitive. Fans expect the Scuderia to be a major force in the upcoming season with Hamilton’s influence.
