Lewis Hamilton is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in F1 history. The seven-time world champion joins Scuderia Ferrari, the most iconic team in motorsport. Former F1 team boss Eddie Jordan has now highlighted the massive fanfare the 40-year-old enjoys across the world.

Hamilton’s Maranello arrival witnessed massive crowds which led to a state of emergency in the region. Experts even suggest that the F1 star will generate over $125 million for the Italian brand during his stint. Lewis Hamilton’s first Instagram post in Ferrari gear has earned over $400,000.

Eddie Jordan claimed that the 40-year-old will be a major draw for fans. The F1 boss emphasized that Lewis Hamilton‘s attraction is not just limited to F1. Rather, Hamilton serves as a global box office with fans in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Red Bull team boss Christian Horner recently made a similar remark.

Jordan emphasized that this image itself showcased the reason behind the Scuderia’s design to sign Lewis Hamilton.

Certainly, Hamilton will bring immense benefits to Ferrari off-track. Though, such advantages won’t matter if this partnership fails to deliver performance results. As such, the Tifosi would hope that the F1 star can hit the ground running from the season opener in Melbourne.
