Lewis Hamilton is all set to debut with Ferrari in the 2025 season. The Briton is expected to return the Italian constructor their lost glory in Formula 1. Now, with the season opener just a few days away, Ex-Ferrari engineer made a hilarious remark on Hamilton’s glorification if he were to emerge victorious in the championship.
Lewis Hamilton will be hailed as the ‘hero forever’ by the Tifosi if he manages to take Ferrari to championship victory. Hamilton also seems eager to take on the challenge of racing for the Scuderia following the preseason testing. Speaking upon the highly anticipated debut, Ernest Knoors highlighted that the Briton hadn’t lost his talent despite being over 40 years old.
Hamilton is no slouch, eh. He hasn’t lost his talent. He hasn’t. No, definitely not.
Ernest Knoors said, as reported by GPblog.
Hamilton is also highly likely to contend for his record-breaking eighth title with Ferrari in the coming season. Upon this, Knoors made a hilarious remark. The Dutchman joked that if the 40-year-old were to win his eighth title with Maranello, he would never have to pay for a pizza again in his life.
One thing is for sure, if Hamilton manages to win an eighth world title and after so much time another title for Ferrari, he will never have to pay for a pizza for the rest of his life.

Ernest Knoors hopes for a ‘good start’ for Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari
Lewis Hamilton is already looking forward to his debut with Ferrari following a positive outing in the pre-season test. The 40-year-old will have to go up against Charles Leclerc at the Italian constructor this season. Hence, Ernest Knoors hoped that Hamilton achieves a good start with the Scuderia. Knoors recalled the Briton’s recent performances and noted that the latter had already shown great results.

I hope he just has a good start at Ferrari and can really show his racing skills there. Which he also showed a few times last season.
Ernest Knoors noted
Ferrari still seems to be lacking in terms of pace against McLaren at the forefront. The Italian constructor still seems to be the closest competitor to Woking for the final year of the ground-effect era. Therefore, time will tell about how the 2025 season pans out for the Scuderia following Hamilton’s entry.
