Fred Vasseur credits ‘snowball effect’ as the change for Ferrari
Ferrari team principal, Fred Vasseur has given us an insight into his ideas and philosophy as the boss of the team. Vasseur joined Ferrari at the start of the 2023 season and has brought about a change for the Maranello-based team.
It's the capacity to take risks. If you are self-confident, if you are working as a team, to be sure that you won't be pointed out if something happens, it's my job with the team to reinforce everybody. We have made some adjustments in terms of people but good ones. It's a kind of a snowball effect. If you are more confident, you make better decisions, and this brings extra confidence.Fred Vasseur said in an interview with The New York Times
Fred Vasseur has been influential and radical ever since he joined Ferrari and has fostered a rejuvenated turnaround for the team in a short period. Vasseur claims that it is because of a very simple process in which the right people are put in spots for the right types of jobs, and results follow in the team’s direction.
Ferrari is currently second in the constructors championship and is a promising contender for the title. However, the year has yet another two-thirds of the campaign remaining, in which, it is of the utmost necessity for Ferrari to be consistent with their efforts if they wish to land their hands on some silverware at the end of the season.
