Ferrari had showcased one of the strongest start to the 2024 season. Maranello was closely competing with Red Bull for the constructors championship. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz even scored a race victory each in the season. However, the team has since degraded in performance as Leclerc faces an early exit from the Qualifying session for the British GP.

Charles Leclerc headed into the British GP with great hopes of scoring some points after scoring no points in the past few races. The Monegasque has failed to put up any great performance since his home race win in Monaco. Hence, Ferrari headed into the third race of the first triple header with great hopes of scoring some points.

However, Charles Leclerc couldn’t manage to steer clear of the Q2 Qualifying session. As a result, Leclerc would have to start the British GP from P11. The 26-year-old has already lost out to Lando Norris in the drivers’ standings. Hence, the Monegasque will have to work extremely hard over his lost form and start scoring better results.

Additionally, a particular fan claimed that the 26-year-old was still ‘hungover’ from the Monaco GP victory celebrations. A fan joked about the situation and added that the ‘Charles Lepain’ moment continued due to his degrading performances. Another fan labeled the entire situation as a ‘shock exit’ for the driver.

Ferrari will have to step up their game and help Leclerc to score better results. The Italian constructor could lose out to McLaren in the constructors’ championship amidst such performances. Hence, the coming few races will be extremely important to see how the season pans out for the team.
