Christian Horner’s sudden sacking from Red Bull has been the talk of the paddock over the past week. Horner was axed from the Austrian outfit after serving them loyally for over two decades in Formula 1. While there is no exact reason behind his exit, many people believe that the 51-year-old’s already ruled out sexually transgressive misconduct was a major reason. Regardless, the father of the female employee who alleged the Briton for the illicit behavior has spoken up on the Team Principal’s unexpected firing.

Christian Horner was accused of sending suggestive messages to a certain female employee at Red Bull. The team immediately conducted an extensive investigation into the matter and found the team principal not guilty of the accusations. While the employee tried to file the case for a second time and subsequently got fired from the team, people did not forget the matter so easily.

Now that Christian Horner’s sudden firing comes over a year after these claims, the female employee’s father has broken his silence on the matter. The father asserted that he read the latest news and was pleased to find out the consequences the 51-year-old faced. He added that the ‘right thing’ happened to the team principal as everyone was aware of the truth, which he claimed was hidden from the public.

I’ve read the news and the right thing has happened. It’s been all over the news and people know what took place.

The female employee’s father told Daily Mail

The female employee was suspended from the team and reportedly never returned. The dad refused to delve into the details of what his daughter did now; however, it was something far from Red Bull. He noted that the people must find out for themselves what she was into. The father reassured that the woman wasn’t involved with the Austrian constructor in any way.

You’ll have to find out for yourself, I don’t want to go into details but she’s not involved with them (Red Bull).

F1 commentator predicts Christian Horner’s move to Alpine

Christian Horner hadn’t spoken much after being abruptly ousted from Red Bull. Horner did mention that he would be a part of the broader team of the energy drink giant, but not related to the F1 team. However, rumors are coming up about the 51-year-old looking to join rivals as soon as the 2026 season. Amongst other teams, Ferrari and Alpine seem to be the front runners to welcome the Briton with open arms.

Sky F1’s commentator, David Croft, shared his opinions on where Christian Horner could finally land after his sudden Red Bull exit. The Briton asserted that Horner’s move to Alpine wasn’t a ‘done deal’ as there would be many other suitable leaders available. Moreover, Crofty questioned where the 51-year-old had the backing to join a team immediately after being snubbed by Red Bull. Croft pointed out that the sacked Team Principal, despite being wealthy, did not have the same means as Mercedes’ Toto Wolff.

There might be other suitors for Alpine as well, so it’s not a done deal that Christian will be able to buy into Alpine, And also, where does his backing come from? Because I don’t think, albeit a very wealthy man, he’s got the means that Toto Wolff has.

David Croft told Sky Sports

Alpine’s current state is nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. Flavio Briatore’s recent re-entry to the team might cause hinderance in Christian Horner’s potential entry to the team. At the same time, anything can happen in Formula 1, as Horner’s experience in leading a team would not be easy to write off. Hence, time will tell if the 51-year-old decides to continue working in the pinnacle of motorsport or find a different calling in life.
