Fernando Alonso-led Aston Martin in awe of it’s ‘Star Wars’ like F1 simulator
Mike Krack spoke highly of Aston Martin's new wind tunnel, which might be the key to Fernando Alonso winning his third world championship.

Aston Martin team principal Mike Krack has spoken on the team’s new wind tunnel at their headquarters. The Warwickshire-based team earlier used Mercedes’ wind tunnel to carry out their testing and analysis.
Aston Martin has been on a poor run this season. Their lead man, Fernando Alonso, has only managed to secure 62 points so far. The Spaniard has since talked of revisiting and resolving the issues of their AMR24 to perform in the coming seasons.
In light of the current situation, Mike Krack has emphasized the key features of the team’s new wind tunnel. He said that he was astounded by the effectiveness of it during a demo run, comparing it to a ‘Star Wars’ movie.
The Fernando Alonso-led unit now heads into the last three races seeking to improve on their results. However, their main interests lie in making a more conducive package from 2025 onwards with the help of advanced machines.

Two-time world champion Fernando Alonso has been a part of the pinnacle of motorsport for over 20 years. He has raced for prestigious teams such as BMW, McLaren, Ferrari, and Alpine in the past before joining Aston Martin.
Alonso has since claimed that he does not regret any of his decisions, regardless of what he has achieved in Formula 1. He nevertheless acknowledges that correct moves at the correct moments can greatly affect a driver’s career.
The 43-year-old veteran missed out on his third championship multiple times during the early 2010s and has been in search of it ever since. He is optimistic about racing in Formula 1 for a few more years, hoping to earn the title that was rightfully his.
