Lewis Hamilton is all set to start the 2025 season afresh with Ferrari as he has finally arrived in Maranello. The 40-year-old is expected to take the Italian constructor back to their glory days in Formula 1. Hence, following the Briton’s first visit, the team joked about him feeling ‘at home’ despite visiting the factory for the first time in his life.

Lewis Hamilton visited the factory in a highly fashionable outfit and shocked the Tifosi online. Ahead of the ‘elastic’ testing schedule planned for Hamilton, he took some time to get acquainted with people at the Maranello factory. The weather in and around the Fiorano track was rainy, which further caused some similarities for the seven-time world champion in the meeting.

Ferrari joked that the 40-year-old ‘felt at home’ following the rainy weather around the factory. During his visit, Hamilton also met with team principal Fred Vasseur and Ferrari CEO Bendetta Vigna and clicked pictures with them in a traditional manner. Apart from the usual meetings, the seven-time world champion was accompanied by his favorite supercar, the Ferrari F40.

Early this morning, the seven-time world champion arrived at the team’s Maranello headquarters via Enzo Ferrari 27. He was met by Team Principal, Fred Vasseur and Ferrari CEO, Benedetto Vigna. The traditional “first day” photos were taken there and even the weather helped to make Lewis feel at home, with some typically British overcast skies and drizzle. Also on hand was a Ferrari F40, Lewis’ favourite supercar.

As a result, the second-day itinerary for Hamilton includes meetings and total immersion with the crew. The Briton also received the opportunity to visit Enzo Ferrari‘s famous office from where the factory was visible. The second day for the 40-year-old includes more technical meetings and briefings as the crew rushes preparations for the 2025 season.

Meetings and total immersion. Next on Lewis’ agenda was a short visit to the Fiorano house and the pit garage, with Vasseur and Vigna, including a look at the famous office, from where Enzo Ferrari would watch his team at work. The work continues tomorrow with more technical meetings and briefings as preparations get underway for what will be a very busy season.

Ferrari’s recent upturn in performance is already a highly motivating factor for Hamilton amidst his championship ambitions. The Briton could finally contend for his eighth world championship and etch his name in the record books forever. Hence, the coming season will be highly exciting as the date for the chassis reveal nears.
