Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur has praised Carlos Sainz for his impeccable consistency on the track. Sainz is set to part ways with the Maranello-based outfit in order to join Williams Racing for the 2025 season.
Carlos Sainz joined Ferrari at the start of the 2021 campaign after a promising run with McLaren. The talented Spaniard has since amassed three wins and 21 podiums, showcasing his brilliant abilities for the Italian team.

In light of this, Fred Vasseur has claimed that the 29-year-old struggled in only two of the last 36 races. Vasseur further supplemented Sainz’s ability by praising his knowledge of the cars and the various kinds of circuits he races on.
One of Carlos' qualities is that he is very strong mentally and very consistent. There are only two races that I could see were tough for him out of the last 36. He is super consistent, he is always there. He has great dedication, he is focused and his knowledge of the car is very good.Fred Vasseur via Formula1
Sainz has expressed his gratitude and appreciation for Ferrari ahead of his move to Williams next year. He will look to deliver exemplary results for the Grove-based team, which is delighted upon securing his services from 2025 onward.
Fred Vasseur outlines importance of frustration amidst Ferrari’s tough run
Ferrari has not been competitive since their dominant win at the Monaco Grand Prix. Keeping this in view, Vasseur has highlighted a key factor responsible for inducing a pushing factor in the team’s fortunes.

Somehow you need to have a kind of frustration when you’re not doing well because it’s also the best push to come back.Fred Vasseur via Formula1
The Frenchman has asked his team to derive motivation from their poor performances this campaign. The 56-year-old has been a radical figure in bringing a fighting spirit to the Maranello-based team since joining them after the end of the 2022 season.
The Reds have been surpassed by McLaren in the championship due to their ongoing struggles on track. Vasseur and Co. will now hope to make their SF-24 a potent challenger to deliver convincing performances after the summer break.
