Max Verstappen has got the world admiring him following his stupendous fourth-world championship triumph. Several top personalities have showered praise on him and amidst this, Ferrari boss Fred Vasseur has given his take on the crucial factor behind the Dutchman’s success.
The Red Bull F1 team has not had the fastest car for the majority of the 2024 season. They have had their issues with the RB20, but despite this, Max Verstappen has somehow managed to keep going and churning out solid results.
In line with this, Fred Vasseur has come up with a fascinating take!
Looking at the reaction of Vasseur, he has specially put the limelight on Verstappen’s ability to fight in the middle of the pack this year. There have been quite a few races in which the Dutchman has started Grand Prix’s between P5 – P17.
Max Verstappen’s manager is ‘super-proud’ of the Dutchman
While Fred Vasseur has applauded Max Verstappen on amassing his fourth world championship, the latter’s manager has also showered praise on him. Raymond Vermeulen is very satisfied with his driver’s exploits in an inconsistent RB20.
Verstappen has so far managed to amass 403 points in the driver’s world championship. However, while he has wrapped up the drivers’ world title, the fight in the constructors’ tussle is very difficult for his team.
Sergio Perez has been in horrendous form and is one of the main reasons why Red Bull lost out on the constructors’ lead in the first place. As things stand, Red Bull has so far amassed 555 points in comparison to McLaren’s 608. Keeping this in view, the remaining two races only are going to be about doing the best possible job for Verstappen and Co.
