At the beginning of the 2024 season Ferrari team boss Fred Vasseur made a shocking move revealing the next Red driver. It was announced that Lewis Hamilton will be joining Ferrari after spending nearly his entire decorated career at Mercedes. Vasseur claimed the duo of Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will be helpful for the Scuderia.

Fred Vasseur explained that Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton are at different stages of their careers. He highlighted that Leclerc can learn a lot from the latter who has 18 seasons of F1 experience.
