The Formula 1 community is currently enjoying the off-season and the winter break as they head away from the noise of the sport. However, before leaving fully, a majority of the drivers participated in their traditions of playing Secret Santa with one another. This time around, Charles Leclerc had to give a secret gift to George Russell, as the latter could easily guess who got him after witnessing the hilarious gift.

In Secret Santa, each driver pulls out a random name from a bag and gives a gift to the person they have drawn, without the recipient knowing who gifted them that. Many drivers gave some meaningful and useful gifts to others, while some of them decided to go with a hilarious route this time around. Among many others, Charles Leclerc couldn’t help but give a hilarious gift to George Russell.

Charles Leclerc gifted a photo frame of his iconic overtake against George Russell at the 2025 Dutch GP. Though Russell lashed out on the team radio at the moment, the stewards believed the move to be righteous and did not penalize Leclerc. As such, the Monegasque gifted two separate versions of this moment, one picture and the other in video format.

George Russell laughed at the funny gift and called Charles Leclerc naughty for giving him such a gift. The Briton believed that part two of the gift might be something different. However, it was the same overtaking incident, but this time in a video frame. Russell sarcastically claimed that it was very kind of the Monegasque to give him such a gift for Secret Santa.

George Russell will be eagerly waiting for his turn to return the favor to Charles Leclerc and give him an even more devious gift. Russell has already started to come up with a plan to gift the Monegasque yet another hilarious gift next time around. Firstly, the Briton funnily claimed that Leclerc could only overtake illegally and bash people off the track.

Further, George Russell claimed that he was at a loss for words and did not really have much to say to Charles Leclerc. Then, the Briton insisted that Leclerc did not deserve to be wished a Merry Christmas because of the gift. Russell reckoned that he would get the Monegasque a picture of him being taken off the track by Kimi Antonelli in the near future and keep reminding him of the moment as well.

He can only overtake illegally, so that’s all he’s got in the locker — bashing people off the track. I’m lost for words, to be honest. I’m lost for words. He doesn’t deserve it.
