George Russell made a shocking revelation about Red Bull personnel following Max Verstappen's behavior during a past race this season.

The Max Verstappen and George Russell drama continues to receive massive updates over the final race weekend in Formula 1. Russell hasn’t backed down from the issues despite strong comebacks from Verstappen. Hence, amidst the ongoing row, the Briton recalled the time when Red Bull engineers started to leave the team.
George Russell claimed he wasn’t questioning Max Verstappen‘s abilities as a Formula 1 driver. Russell reckoned Verstappen drove erratically the moment he didn’t have the fastest chassis on the grid. The Briton recalled the 2024 Hungarian GP where the 27-year-old collided with Lewis Hamilton and cost a podium finish to Red Bull.
Following the crash, Russell revealed that over 25% of the engineers in the team started exploring other options. Engineers wanted to leave the team and join Mercedes, McLaren, Aston Martin, etc after witnessing the Dutchman’s behavior. The 26-year-old claimed that the engineers didn’t want to work with a guy like Verstappen.
Max Verstappen was ‘swearing’ at the stewards following the penalty
The 2024 season has witnessed Max Verstappen being irritated by the stewards on multiple accounts. Hence, due to this, George Russell claimed that the situation was funny because even before he said anything, Verstappen was cussing the stewards. Moreover, Russell reckoned that there was nothing to lie about as pointed out by the Dutchman in his comments.
2024 has proved to be one huge rollercoaster ride for varied reasons. The coming season will witness massive personnel changes in a majority of the teams. However, Russell and Verstappen will continue with their respective teams. As a result, it would be interesting to witness how 2025 would pan out for both drivers.
