Russell: I don’t think he saw me, but I saw him in the bar at 9 in the morning when I was leaving to the airport. He didn’t see me, he was too, you know, he was nodding, nodding away.

Max Verstappen feels it’s ‘not ideal’ with people leaving F1

While George Russell has brought up a hilarious moment from Las Vegas, Max Verstappen on a serious note, has talked about some recent departures. The governing body of F1, the FIA has recently sacked race director Niels Wittch and senior steward Tim Mayer.

In light of this, Verstappen had the following to add.

I didn’t even know [that] someone else left right? Again. I didn’t even know. I don’t follow F1 news. I think that’s better anyway. Well, I think even for them, of course, it’s not ideal, right, with people leaving. It just depends on who you get back for it. Who’s going to take over a role? That’s also another thing.
