Nobody thinks Max Verstappen is beatable these days, in the same way they thought Lewis Hamilton was, and there's only one way to prove it - by testing yourself against the best. My number one choice would be Max, but I don't think he'll be coming to Mercedes next year.
George Russell said in an interview with Viaplay

Russell has been a tireless performer for Mercedes this year, amassing a win (Austrian GP) and two podiums. He will now look to bounce back at Zandvoort after an unfortunate disqualification at Spa before the summer break.

Nobody can take that feeling away from me, from crossing the line, celebrating with my team, standing on the podium. I think if I was in the championship fight this year it would have been a much bigger blow to us those 25 points, but this season unfortunately we’re not quite there. That race, I lost 25 points, but in my mind, that is still a win.
George Russell told the media ahead of the Dutch GP

The 26-year-old has reminisced about crossing the line and celebrating the Belgian GP win with the Silver Arrows. Russell then asserted that the disqualification would have been a bigger hit to the team if they were leading the championship.

The Brackley-based team was extremely proud of Russell for his efforts, despite the decision by the FIA. The team worked to resolve the issues that led to the disqualification and will be fired up to reclaim the top points at the Dutch GP.
