The car was already running well on Friday. Max, together with GP made the necessary changes, adjusted the car towards the race. That makes the big difference even more special. It is in absolute top form at the moment and the car was optimal. And that combination is unbeatable. Every lap he drove in qualifying was good for pole, I think. That says something.

Looking at the reaction of the 81-year-old, it is quite clear that he is immensely pleased with the results Verstappen has been showing in the RB20. The car has not always proved the best on track this year but despite this, the three-time world champion has been able to put it through the absolute wringer.

Max Verstappen’s won the Sprint race yesterday around the Red Bull Ring.

If you look at the stands, all that orange, the great atmosphere and a track that apparently suits him: Max seems to be doing all that very well. I also enjoy all that orange along the track and those yellow number plates on the way to the circuit with trailers.

Max Verstappen won the 2023 Austrian GP by a margin of over five seconds and considering this, he’ll be hoping to do something similar in the upcoming race. The whole 4.3 km Red Bull Ring will be painted orange by Verstappen and Red Bull fans and it will be fascinating to see how the Dutchman would perform.
