Former British motorsport racer Jenson Button has praised the three-time world champion Max Verstappen for his impressive skills. Verstappen has been dominating the pinnacle of motorsporing since 2022.

Max Verstappen leads the championship this season, amassing seven wins and nine podiums. The Dutchman has come up trumps despite being massively challenged by the lights of McLaren and Mercedes.

Jenson Button therefore named Verstappen as the most naturally talented driver upon being asked in an interview. Button won the world championship in Formula One in 2009 while racing for Brawn GP.

Verstappen has surprisingly been winless in the last four races this campaign and will be looking to bounce back after the ongoing summer break. F1 will return to action at Zandvoort for the Dutch GP, which will be a fitting venue for the 26-year-old to get back to winning ways.

Helmut Marko hints at possible driver changes for Red Bull in 2025

Red Bull Technical Advisor Helmut Marko claimed that Sergio Perez might still be replaced next year. A decision was delivered by the team earlier this week, securing Perez’s future at least until the end of this season.

For 2025, the cards will be reshuffled.
Helmut Marko told F1-insider

Sergio Perez signed a new contract with Red Bull this season but has since failed to show his worth on the grid. As a result of this, many argued that the Mexican driver should be replaced despite having a contract until 2026.

Helmut Marko, hence, asserted that Perez might still risk getting removed if he fails to perform until next year. Marko also strongly believes the main interests of the Milton-keynes-based team lie with drivers who deliver results regardless of varying conditions.
