English television presenter Jeremy Clarkson has conveyed praise for Red Bull driver Max Verstappen. Verstappen is the reigning world champion and currently one of the finest drivers in Formula 1.
Max Verstappen‘s skill and brilliance have made him a popular figure in the world of motorsport. He leads the drivers’ championship this season as well, looking to amass a fourth consecutive title for the Milton Keynes-based team.
Jeremy Clarkson has thereafter deemed Verstappen one of the greatest drivers in the history of Formula 1. Clarkson believes that the Dutchman’s talent might even be suitable to label him as the best driver ever.
The 27-year-old put in a spectacular performance last weekend at the Brazilian GP, winning from P17 on the grid. As Formula 1 nears the end of another action-packed season, Verstappen will be keen on continuing his good run.
Former F1 driver deems Max Verstappen and Michael Schumacher alike in terms of wet weather attributes
Former German racer Timo Glock has stated the similarities between seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher and Max Verstappen. The Dutchman surpassed Schumacher as the driver to lead the championship for the most consecutive days in Formula 1 last week.
Timo Glock claims that Verstappen can be put on par with Michael Schumacher with regard to his wet racing abilities. Glock has further said that the Dutchman’s feats are no short of extraordinary at the pinnacle of motorsport.
Verstappen currently has a contract with Red Bull until the end of the 2028 season. He has, however, talked of not wanting to race until an older age in Formula 1. What now remains to be seen is if the Dutchman can surpass Schumacher’s tally in the time that he continues to drive in motorsport.
