As such, Jeremy Clarkson, who became a farmer after his Top Gear exit, has joked that the 51-year-old has a plethora of career options to choose from and he need not stick to Formula 1.

The Top Gear fame joked that the Briton might become an astronaut, or an ice-cream van driver, or even a Foreign Secretary. Meanwhile, Red Bull would suffer a lot after the 51-year-old’s disappointing snub from the team. Clarkson predicted that the Austrian outfit may even end up in Formula 4 as they would not have Horner’s expertise of 20 years with them.

Christian Horner might re-emerge in a couple of years as an astronaut, or in an ice-cream van or as a Foreign Secretary. And Red Bull? This once-great team may well end up, in a couple of years, in Formula 4.
