Jos Verstappen reveals Red Bull IGNORED Max Verstappen’s complaints at the start of 2024

Red Bull has struggled to maintain their initial level of performance this season. At the start the team was dominant which clearly indicated who will win the championship this year. However, as the season progressed, their rivals made significant improvements. Meanwhile, Max Verstappen reported that the car felt unbalanced, which has affected their performance. Red Bull seemed to ignore that problem as per Verstappen’s father.
Jos Verstappen explained that even when Red Bull was winning races at the start of the season, that made everything seem to be perfect. Max Verstappen already mentioned that the car’s balance was not quite right and it may affect their performance in future. However, These handling issues were effectively ignored while the team seemed to be performing well at the races. The recent Dutch GP was another example of Red Bull failing to showcase the performance due to it’s RB20.

Jos Verstappen noted that despite Red Bull’s early race wins, Max Verstappen had concerns about the car’s balance that were not publicly addressed. The team tried to keep the issues private which has now resulted in a worst situation. As per Verstappen senior, the 26-year-old had been complaining about this problem for a while, for around three months. Despite his concerns, the team didn’t fully believe him and openly discussed the problems.

Jos Verstappen expects a tough period ahead for Red Bull
Jos Verstappen stated that he doesn’t expect things to get better soon within Red Bull. He pointed out that races are happening quickly, and he believes that the team hasn’t found a real solution to their problems yet. While Red Bull has mostly stayed the same, other teams have improved their performance. McLaren sits only 30 points behind them. With both their drivers in the front row at the Italian GP, it seems the constructors’ lead will be slipping away.
The coming period doesn’t look positive either. The races follow each other rapidly and I don’t think they have really found a solution yet. Red Bull has kind of stayed put and the rest have got stronger.Jos Verstappen stated.
Certainly, Jos Verstappen believes Red Bull is falling behind as the competition strengthens. This situation might lead the Verstappen family to consider switching teams in the future. This situation could put Red Bull at risk of losing their star driver.
