The drivers present on the Formula 1 grid are avid lovers of pets. Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc are some of the most recent dog parents. Lando Norris got the opportunity to spend some quality time with furry little friends amidst the ongoing summer break. Hence, the Briton enjoyed playing with cute little puppies as he shared his thoughts on owning a dog.

Battersea is a shelter for dogs and cats ever since 1860. The group adopts strays and takes care of them while also providing loving homes to the lost animals. McLaren recently teamed up with Battersea and decided to surprise Lando Norris and make him spend a lovely time with the puppies.

Norris was extremely delighted to see the various breeds of puppies undertaken by the well-known animal rescue center. Additionally, the Briton was amazed at the work done by the team at Battersea and their great initiative.

Lando Norris revealed reason why he couldn’t adopt dogs while driving in Formula 1

The Formula 1 drivers have an extremely hectic life while driving for their respective teams. As a result, owing to such big responsibilities isn’t easy for them. Hence, Norris mentioned he couldn’t own a dog because he was away from his house so much. However, the 24-year-old mentioned that there were other ways to take care of furry little animals much like Battersea.

I can’t probably have a dog because I am away so much, what other ways are there of supporting Battersea or like dog homes.

The summer break would provide the drivers with a great time to relax and take some time off from themselves. Spending one’s time with such cute little pets is definitely one of the greatest comforting activities.
