Moreover, they have combined to score 184 points for McLaren this season in eight races. Lando Norris seemed baffled with his ratings in the game, unlike Oscar Piastri, who was rated 84 and seemed content with it. The coming races of the season will test this dynamic duo’s ability to perform and challenge the likes of Ferrari and Red Bull for the constructor championships.
Oscar Piastri says McLaren can sustain a title fight
Oscar Piastri spoke in confidence about McLaren’s abilities to sustain a title fight this season. The 23-year-old driver managed to secure a second place finish in the Monaco Grand Prix.

I think the pecking order is as tight as it's ever been, especially this weekend. Going into qualifying, I think we thought that there could be any one of four teams on pole, which I don't think we've been able to say for a while. So, I think we can definitely be in the fight every weekend.Oscar Piastri spoke after the Monaco Grand Prix.
Oscar Piastri spoke on McLaren’s advantage of finding pace around circuits that are not high-speed, an issue the team has struggled with in the past. McLaren also won the Miami Grand Prix this year, which was a circuit that they struggled at last year.
The coming races of the season will test the performance of the MCL38 even further as McLaren looks to continue its fine form. Both Norris and Piastri will look to perform to the best of their abilities’ to be truly worthy challengers to Red Bull and Ferrari.
