McLaren seems all set to start the 2025 season on a high note as the livery reveal date nears. The team recently unveiled the all-new black racing suits for Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Woking will reveal the livery at the F1 75 OT event at the London O2. Hence, before the mega event, Norris hinted that the British constructor would use a different livery than the surprise black-camo design at its shakedown..
McLaren’s 2025 chassis, the MCL39 was revealed at a surprise launch in Silverstone ahead of the F1 75 event. The challenger with its all-new aerodynamical design consisted of a one-time black-camo livery at the Silverstone circuit. Following the testing session, Lando Norris highlighted that it was ‘exciting’ to hop in the new challenger ahead of the pre-season testing in Bahrain.

Norris also showcased his thoughts on the astonishing camo livery on the MCL39. The Briton labeled the one-time design as a ‘fun one’. Moreover, the 25-year-old insisted that using a completely different livery in the surprise shakedown before the F1 75 event was great.

McLaren dominated the majority of the grid in terms of pace and won the constructors’ championship in 2024. Woking would have to keep up with the same pace if not better to start the season well. Amidst the final prep, Lando Norris raised confidence in the team’s success in the 2025 season.

Norris thanked the entire McLaren crew for working hard on the chassis for the upcoming season. Moreover, the Briton reckoned that this campaign would be more competitive than ever for the team. The 25-year-old believed that Woking had a ‘lot to do’ to retain the championship trophy and further aim for the drivers’ title.
