Formula 1 witnesses a massive change this year. Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton has joined Scuderia Ferrari to partner Charles Leclerc. However, F1 journalist Leo Turrini has reckoned that Leclerc won’t be intimidated by the British star.

Hamilton’s arrival has been the most awaited move in recent history of the sport. The Scuderia even prepared a grand welcome for the British driver. Lewis Hamilton has already made his track debut at Fiorano with the 2023 race-winning SF-23.

Turrini pointed out that Charles Leclerc does not have an inferiority complex. The Monegasque driver managed to defeat Sebastian Vettel as teammate during his first season at Ferrari. Ultimately, Vettel was booted out of the team. Leo Turrini asserted that Hamilton was aware that his new teammate won’t care about his past success.

The Monegasque is not the type to have inferiority complexes: he has already shown with Seb Vettel that he doesn’t give a damn about other people’s CVs. Lewis knows this perfectly well

Ferrari’s 2025 season won’t be all roses and flowers

The F1 pundit reckoned that both Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will be looking to one-up each other during the upcoming season. Turrini predicted that things can escalate at the Scuderia, stating that i won’t be all roses or red and flowers for the Italian team. Although so far, no such tension has been spotted between the two.

It won’t be all roses (or rather, Red) and flowers, trust me.

Leo Turrini added

Certainly, Hamilton and Leclerc will not go beyond their way to help each other at Ferrari this year. Rather, fans can expect a potential battle on-track. It remains to be seen how Maranello decides to tackle this potential concern in the coming weeks as the F1 season kicks off.
