Lewis Hamilton‘s picture in front of Enzo Ferrari‘s residence with a Ferrari F40 broke the internet. The Italian crew received the 40-year-old with a warm gesture. Hamilton looked stunning in a dapper black suit and an overcoat, staying true to his British roots. Now, the Briton revealed what he wanted to achieve with his first post at Maranello.
Lewis Hamilton‘s first visit to Maranello was supported by a massive fan presence, causing a state of emergency in the city. The seven-time champion opened up on his choice of clothes during his initial presence. Hamilton recalled that he was aware of what to wear but could not find the perfect suit. The 40-year-old insisted that he instantly knew the right dress after finding it.
I knew what I wanted to wear, but finding the right suit is always a challenge. But I knew exactly what suit I wanted and how it looked. And when I did find it, I was like, it’s that one.

The 40-year-old stood in front of the Ferrari F40 because it was the ‘coolest’ car ever made. Hamilton highlighted that he wanted his first image to ‘stand the test of time’ meaning people would remember it for many years to come.
I chose the F40 because that’s just a dream, iconic car, one of the coolest cars that’s ever been made. And to be in front of that building, that’s the history within all the drivers. I wanted it to be an image that would stand the test of time.

Lewis Hamilton was pleased with the massive fan presence during his first test with the SF-25 at Fiorano. The Briton pointed out that he wasn’t present on social media much and wanted his first visit picture to kick off his Ferrari journey. Hamilton labeled the Ferrari’s legacy ‘magical’. Moreover, the 40-year-old highlighted that he couldn’t stop smiling ever since his first day with the Scuderia.
I hadn’t done any social media during my off-season really– then to drop that [picture] kind of as your initiation into this, you know, the legacy of, this iconic legacy of this incredible brand, that was magical. It was the first day. To be honest, every day I’ve just been beaming with the biggest smile.

With pre-season testing fast approaching, Ferrari is finalizing preparations for SF-25. The Italian constructor achieved some performances last previous season. Hence, the 2025 season will be enticing for the Tifosi as Hamilton aims for his record-breaking eighth championship win.
