Lewis Hamilton to trigger ‘massive’ change of mentality at Ferrari
Former F1 driver Johnny Herbert highlighted the positive impact of Lewis Hamilton at Maranello. He claimed that the Italian team was ready to embrace a massive change of mentality under the guidance of the seven-time world champion. The 40-year-old brings a completely different mindset to the Scuderia after spending over a decade at Mercedes.
Certainly, Hamilton will make some changes to Ferrari’s operations. Such tweaks are normal when there is a big driver move. However, it is unlikely that the Scuderia will allow for too many overhauls which could impact the long-established structure at Maranello. It remains to be seen how this new union performs in the coming weeks.
