Lewis Hamilton emerged as one of the most underwhelming drivers on the 2025 grid following the massive struggles at Ferrari. The Briton failed to match expectations in his debut year with the Italian constructor. As such, the seven-time champion was subjected to a lot of criticism and negativity online. Now, Hamilton has responded sternly to the haters following a problematic outing in 2025.
The entire ground-effect era proved to be one of the worst eras of regulations for Lewis Hamilton. Over the four years, he only picked up two race wins and a handful of podium finishes. His Ferrari debut year was the worst season of his career in Formula 1. Now, after accepting his nightmare of a debut with Maranello, Hamilton fires some shots at the critics who are asking him to call it quits early.
Lewis Hamilton’s former teammate, Nico Rosberg, already declared that the former shouldn’t retire simply because of a poor year with Ferrari. Even Hamilton feels the same and believes he isn’t done with Formula 1 yet. The 40-year-old put forth a blunt answer to the haters and pointed out that he did not have anything to say to the naysayers.
Further, Lewis Hamilton brutally claimed that none of the haters had achieved what he had in Formula 1, especially after equaling the title wins with the legendary Michael Schumacher. As such, Hamilton continued that the critics did not know any better than he and were thus unqualified to comment on the same. This proves that the 40-year-old is confident in his capabilities to achieve a massive turnaround in results in the new regulations of 2026 and prove his racing prowess to everyone once again.
I wouldn’t say anything to them. None of them has done what I’ve done, so they don’t know anything more than I do.

Certainly, Lewis Hamilton is showing no signs of slowing down despite being in the sport for so long. Hamilton hasn’t given up at all yet and is going to work harder than ever. The 40-year-old has definitely faced a lot of struggles in the 2025 season, but if time is witness, he has overcome every single difficulty in the past and bounced back with great success, and would do so in the coming season as well.
