The Briton indulged in multiple PR activities alongside testing the team’s previous SF-23 chassis. However, the 40-year-old reportedly crashed out the chassis during his first test in Barcelona and he faced major criticism behind this crash.

The elastic testing schedule planned for Lewis Hamilton helped him to drive under different weather conditions in and around Fiorano. The 40-year-old made his first visit on 20th January and soon got to testing the SF-23. However, Hamilton crashed the chassis at Turn 12 of the Barcelona circuit and went into the barriers.

I don’t remember any other drivers being so elegant on their first day at Ferrari. An impeccable suit, a tie, a dapper figure. We executives, for example, were without ties.
