Lewis Hamilton has finally made his highly-anticipated move to Scuderia Ferrari. The Tifosi were waiting to see the seven-time world champion in Maranello for almost a year. The 40-year-old broke the internet with a stunning image on social media.

Reports had emerged that Hamilton will make his first visit to Ferrari around January 19. The British driver confirmed that he had met his new team on Instagram. Lewis Hamilton posted a picture in a dashing black formal look with a long overcoat. The braided hairstyle further added to the image.

The seven-time world champion stood right in front of Ferrari’s Maranello base with the flag of the Prancing Horse being visible. Moreover, the iconic Ferrari F40 could be seen alongside the Briton. The F40 was the last Ferrari to be built under the leadership of the company’s founder and racing legend Enzo Ferrari.

The F1 icon wrote an emotional caption to mark the new chapter in his career. Lewis Hamilton mentioned that he will forever remember his first day as a Scuderia Ferrari driver. The Briton insisted that he always wished to race in red even when it seemed that it might not be possible. The seven-time world champion emphasized that he couldn’t be happier as he has finally accomplished this childhood dream.
