I've been to Bahrain and the Middle East and worn some really warm clothing. I was dying for the 30 seconds I am walking down to the track. But that's the price of fashion.
Lewis Hamilton said in an interview with Motorsport.com.

The former seven-time world champion explained that when he is in the Middle Eastern countries, he feels like dying from the extreme heat in the warm clothing while walking towards the team garage. However, he still wears such outfits to utilize his platform and spread a message through it and reckons it to be a price that he has to pay for fashion.

The 39-year-old gave an insight into how his collaboration with designers and brands works in the first place.

It’s ultimately looking at brands that I admire. I try to collaborate with designers, and they come up with custom pieces, which is always awesome. In the different locations I go to, I love to utilize my platform to highlight up-and-coming designers as well. There’s a lot of options but I only have four days, there’s only so much you can wear to the track. And then I have to get back into the [team’s racing] kit. I wish there was more days.
Lewis Hamilton said in an interview with WWD.

The Mercedes driver elaborated that he looks at an array of collections from the brands he admires. Furthermore, he collaborates with up-and-coming designers to give them a platform to jumpstart their careers and help them become a global marque soon.

On the contrary, despite the F1 circus taking place 24 times a year, Hamilton has stated his unhappiness that he can wear such outfits only four times a week, and that too on race weeks. But there is still a huge fan following for his fashion sense and fans would be waiting for the race weekend in Imola to see what the former champion would wear at the home of Ferrari after signing a deal with them before the start of the season.
