Lewis Hamilton ‘very excited’ for his Ferrari debut in 2025
Lewis Hamilton made the leap to Ferrari for the 2025 season and onwards amidst Mercedes’ unstable state. The 40-year-old had a tumultuous outing with Mercedes in recent years but still believed in his ability to contend for the championship.

Hamilton revealed that part of his motivation for switching teams was the desire to push himself into an ‘uncomfortable’ situation. The Briton felt that most of his first-time experiences in life were behind him. However, wearing the Scuderia’s Red for the first time reignited a fresh sense of excitement and motivation in the seven-time world champion.
I needed to throw myself into something uncomfortable again. Honestly, I thought all my firsts were done. Your first car, your first crash, your first date, first day of school. The excitement I got by the idea of, ‘This is my first time in the red suit, the first time in the Ferrari.’ Wow. Honestly, I’ve never been so excited.
