Lewis Hamilton is all set to join Ferrari in the 2025 season after serving Mercedes for over 12 years. The Italian constructor has great hopes from Hamilton of taking them back to their winning ways. Ferrari’s improving pace in the 2024 season is a highly positive point for the Briton. Hence, amidst the preparations for the switch, Maranello has sorted out the residential situation for the 39-year-old.

Lewis Hamilton isn’t too well-versed with the Italian crew at Ferrari. Moreover, the team’s factory in Maranello meant that the Briton didn’t have a residency ready there. As a result, the Italian constructor graciously provided Ferrari’s late owner Enzo Ferrari‘s residence. Hamilton is all set to stay at the mansion for the time he is racing for the Prancing Horse.

Michael Schumacher was the last driver to take Ferrari to continued years of success followed by Kimi Raikkonen‘s last championship win in 2007. Schumacher was also notably the only driver before Hamilton allowed to stay at Enzo Ferrari’s residence. As a result, the 39-year-old is receiving a massive honor from the team and must hold true to all the hopes banked on him.

Ferrari to close public roads near Lewis Hamilton’s residence due to the massive public turnout

The love for Ferrari and the team in Formula 1 is through the roof in Italy. Hence, Lewis Hamilton’s arrival would only increase this love by multiple folds. Following the rumors of Hamilton’s tenancy, the team will also block the public roads near Fiorano’s circuit. The constructor is expecting massive public turnout near the areas and hence would have to prepare for the issues in advance.

He also said they’ll have to close the public roads near Fiorano’s circuit for the amount of people that will show up to see Lewis’ first laps. So he kinda confirmed he will run Fiorano like Seb and Alonso did, but nothing official.
