Lewis Hamilton has achieved a highly decorated career in Formula 1 after winning a whopping 105 races. A majority of these victories are highly special for the Briton as they contributed to the record. However, choosing a single race as a favorite would be a difficult task for the seven-time world champion. Regardless, the 39-year-old tried to recall his favorite win in the pinnacle of motorsport.
The British GP in Silverstone is one of the greatest tracks for Lewis Hamilton due to multiple reasons. The great support from the home crowd and his previous performances on the track are some of the reasons. Hence, Hamilton labeled his outing at the 2008 British GP as his ‘most favorite’ in the sport.
My wet racing in the Silverstone 2008 is probably my favorite, probably the best performance I would say.Lewis Hamilton said on the Performance People podcast
Lewis Hamilton has put forth multiple highly dominant performances in the past in Formula 1. The 39-year-old went through a massive performance slump after he couldn’t score race wins for two seasons. Regardless, the seven-time world champion has so far managed a successful campaign in the 2024 season and won two races already. Hence, the veteran will continue to add more to the list with Ferrari in the coming season.

Lewis Hamilton labeled his karting race in 1995 as another favorite race from the past
Lewis Hamilton had started karting at a very tender age. The 39-year-old still remembers his races from his young days and cherishes them. Hence, Hamilton noted that his karting race in the 1995/96 season was another one of his favorite performances. The reason for this was that he continually ran the race in fourth and overtook all the racers ahead in one corner to win the race.
I overtook em all in one corner and I won this race and that was just one of those reminders of just to never give up. Its never over until its over. so, that's the first step that I particularly remember.Lewis Hamilton added
The Briton’s legacy with Mercedes would finally come to a close at the end of the 2024 season. Hence, Hamilton must put forth some great performances to end the campaign with the constructor on a high note. Separating from the German carmaker must have been one of the most difficult decisions for the seven-time world champion in Formula 1.
