Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton has been working on film apart from F1. The Film staring Brad Pitt alongside actor Damson Idris will be soon released worldwide in theatres and in IMAX by Warner Bros.

The newly featured film takes place in the thrilling world of Formula 1 racing and will show audience the excitement of this popular annual sport series. The film highlights the talent and bravery of the drivers and showcases the intense competition of Formula one races . This film is set to be released worldwide on June 25th, 2025. While it will be released in North America on June 27th. It is one of the most expensive films in history with a budget of $300 million.

The movie, for which the title has yet to be decided is made by Apple Original Films in collaboration with Formula 1. This highly-anticipated project was filmed for both, the sport and the cinema, with shooting done during real races held around the globe. This film features entire F1 community, including all 10 racing teams, the drivers, the FIA and the race organizers. Moreover, it even includes a fictional eleventh team, called APXGP.

Brad Pitt explained the story of $300 million film produced by ‘Lewis Hamilton’

The American actor explained what roles he and his friends have played in this film. Brad Pitt‘s character in the movie is of an F1 driver from 1990’s who experiences a tragic accident but somehow survives. After this incident the driver leaves the sport and starts racing in other competitions like Le Mans and Daytona.

 I play a driver who drove in the 1990s. But he has a terrible accident, which he survives, but he disappears from Formula 1 and then drives in other categories, in Le Mans, in Daytona.

The 60-year-old actor expressed his thrilling emotion of being able to share this story in the world of Formula one. Pitt expressed how warmly welcomed he felt by the FIA, Formula one and their whole team upon showing support and allowing him to create what he believes will be a fantastic film. The Hollywood icon particularly thanked F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali.
