Furious Lewis Hamilton lashes out on team radio after losing positions at Las Vegas GP
Lewis Hamilton took to team radio to showcase his resentment towards a botch pit stop strategy from Mercedes at the Las Vegas GP.

Mercedes showcased a great improvement in pace and performance at the ultimate American race of the 2024 season. George Russell won the pole position at the Las Vegas GP while Lewis Hamilton had a difficult qualifying session. After starting the race in P10, Hamilton suffered further due to a botched pitstop strategy from the team.
Lewis Hamilton was quick at the start and continued to gain track position after a difficult qualifying session. The Briton pit while he was in P2 following George Russell‘s stop. Although the pit stop was under favorable time, Hamilton still came out behind the leading pack. The 39-year-old fell down to around ninth position following the pitstop and couldn’t contain his disappointment.
Hamilton took to team radio to showcase his resentment toward the botched strategy. The seven-time world champion lashed out on the team radio, questioning the race engineer. Additionally, the 39-year-old pointed out that he lost many track positions following the uncertain strategy. As a result, the Briton will have to work hard on the track to gain positions and ultimately a podium finish.

Lewis Hamilton surprised by the ‘fast’ pace of rivals at the Las Vegas GP
The Las Vegas GP has put forth some unexpected conditions on track providing multiple issues to the drivers. The lack of grip around the frigid circuit is one of the major challenges to drivers. Mercedes’s chassis was believed to be the fastest around the American circuit. However, the 39-year-old took to the team radio and noted that the rivals were way too fast on the straights.

Lewis Hamilton has still gained over five positions on the track and is competing for a podium finish. The Briton must put forth some good results during his final three races with Mercedes.
