Kimi is a great talent. I really hope for him to get to F1, especially because I feel like I come from an era where there were some good Italian drivers that deserved a chance but didn’t have it. So I hope he gets the chance because that would mean that there’s still space here for us, not only for other drivers.
Luca Ghiotto spoke to PitDebrief

Luca Ghiotto hopes for Kimi Antonelli to make it to the pinnacle of motorsport on behalf of other Italian drivers who did not receive a chance. Ghiotto claims that the 17-year-old’s debut could be a motivating factor for Italian motorsport talents all around the world.

Andrea Kimi Antonelli is currently seventh in the F2 championship with 87 points. In the absence of a concrete decision, Antonelli will have to continue charting good results if he hopes to secure a promotion to F1 next year.
