Lewis Hamilton is a man of many interests apart from his performances in Formula 1. The Briton is a big-time philanthropist, especially with his Mission 44 aimed at providing the younger generation with better opportunities. Hamilton has also invested in multiple interesting businesses, some of which aren’t going as well as he expected. Apart from the 40-year-old’s difficult time in the sport, he also suffered a massive blow in the business world recently.

Lewis Hamilton is a big advocate of veganism and promoting vegan foods. Even his Bulldog Roscoe consumes a vegan meal and seems healthier than ever. As such, the 40-year-old had invested in a vegan food chain named Neat Burger, backed by Hollywood Legend Leonardo DiCaprio. Hamilton co-owned the restaurant chain for the past six years, but it had been struggling financially in recent years.

Back in 2023, Neat Burger announced that it would be closing over half of its stores in the UK after incurring losses of up to $9 million in a single year. Subsequently, the New York facility shut down as well following the declining demand of the food chain. Ultimately, the Neat Burger shut down all of the stores earlier this year before finally deciding to declare for liquidation.

Lewis Hamilton’s Neat Burger reportedly appointed FRP Advisory as its liquidator on 22nd July. However, Hamilton might not suffer a massive blow following the closing of his food chain, as he recently announced a new addition to his non-alcoholic drink brand Almave. The 40-year-old’s current focus is Formula 1 and his debut season with Ferrari, but he will still have to pay close attention to his multiple businesses.

Lewis Hamilton finally unveils secretive ’08/08′ announcement

In the recent race weekend, Lewis Hamilton had teased about a massive announcement on the 8th of August (08/08). Many people believed that the 40-year-old could potentially announce his retirement following an extremely dismal year with Ferrari. Hamilton kept complete silence as no rumors were able to speculate what the seven-time champion had brewing. Now, he has finally revealed the announcement that people have been waiting for long enough.

Lewis Hamilton’s non-alcoholic drink brand Almave had launched two products during its inception two years ago. Now, Hamilton has finally announced an all-new Almave drink. The third product is titled Almave Humo, which is a mezcal-inspired variant featuring distinct smoky notes. The 40-year-old has made the drinks completely non-alcoholic so people of all ages can enjoy the drink.

I’m proud of what we’ve achieved with this latest innovation, I think Almave drinkers will really enjoy the unique, smoky taste of Almave Humo.

Regardless of Lewis Hamilton’s successful pursuit in the business world, his Formula 1 performances seem to be problematic. The 40-year-old has failed to achieve any notable results this year, as his best finish is only a sprint race victory in China. As such, Hamilton might have suffered from a few more blows in the business world, but his priority would likely remain at the pinnacle of motorsport.
