The upcoming Formula 1 film directed by Lewis Hamilton and starring Brad Pitt continues to gain massive popularity. The film is set at an extreme budget as it would contain realistic scenarios of the APXGP team racing around the circuits in Formula 1. Hence, amidst the ongoing production, a member of the production team shared Red Bull’s fears surrounding the movie.
The Co-producer of Lewis Hamilton’s F1 film, Jerry Bruckheimer lifted the curtains on the matter. Following the media corporation’s collaboration with Mercedes in the production of the film, multiple teams were concerned. A majority of the people on the grid believed that Mercedes would be the hero in the movie and make the rest of the teams look bad.
Red Bull was the most concerned team after all due to their ongoing rivalry with Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton. Following the clarification, all the teams were on board for the shooting of the film and leaned in to help move the project in the right direction.

Jerry Bruckheimer also revealed the reason behind the simplistic title of the film
The film is set to be titled simply Formula 1 or F1 due to multiple reasons. Jerry Bruckheimer also revealed the thought process behind the naming of the film. Lewis Hamilton’s directed film took the sober approach because the greatest racing movies, such as Le Mans and Grand Prix were a monumental success. Hence, this meant that the naming wasn’t necessary for the success of the film.
The release date for the film comes closer as the production starts to gain some momentum. The film is supposed to be extremely realistic as Brad Pitt raced during a live race to capture realistic shots. Hence, Hamilton’s plans would also help propel the sport’s popularity to a greater audience in the world.
